Notice:
1. This UTC controller only supports AHD and CVBS analog cameras, NOT CVI/TVI cameras, though the LCD may display other names.
2. Please ensure your camera is UTC control supported (camera boards with UTC TX chip like RJ103, IX528, etc.) before you order or apply the UTC controller. Usually, default output cameras don't have UTC control IC because extra cost is required for UTC version.
3. Please ensure your camera supports AHD/CVBS signal switch if you need to use the switch function.
4. Please ensure your camera comes with OSD menu. Camera with OSD cable DOES NOT mean the camera supports UTC control. They are different.
5. There is no user manual provided with the UTC controller. The operation is subject to your camera module and OSD cable control, SAME AS your camera OSD cable controller use. Thus, please consult your camera supplier about the OSD operation instructions of the camera. If you are not professional in security cameras or you are not familiar with UTC control, we don't suggest you place order, or else, we may both have trouble in UTC controller use.
Description:
Up The Coax (UTC) technology - this new function allows the user to control the camera's OSD settings at the DVR end rather than at the camera end. This is INSTALLATION HEAVEN! The previous technology had an OSD Remote Control attached to the camera wire, which meant the OSD settings could only be controlled at the camera end. This was a real downside to the whole concept as once the camera was installed the user could only make future adjustments to the picture and activate other functions by getting to the camera. As all installers would know this was a real nightmare! Well, the solution is here! Now installers can control ALL UTC enabled cameras with the joy of a SINGLE UTC Controller, YES a single UTC Controller!

(1). How to easily confirm whether your camera supports UTC control:
Method 1: Ask your camera supplier whether the camera supports UTC control. Camera with OSD cable controller doesn't mean it supports UTC control.
Method 2: Open the camera. Look at the camera module and see whether there is a UTC TX IC. Normally, default cameras don't have UTC control IC. Extra cost is required for adding UTC control IC.
Method 3: Please send us the camera link or detailed camera specifications. We will check whether the camera specifications mention UTC (UP the Coax) control.
Method 4: Common DVRs support UTC control. Connect the camera and UTC controller to DVR. Right click the DVR channel on mouse and choose "UTC control". If there is no camera OSD menu displayed, it proves your camera doesn't support UTC control.
